  First off — I never worked out there. Never got a chance to. I went and took a look at the gym and the girl at the counter was pleasant. Told me the terms and it seemed fine. I told her I'd be back to use my free day pass that I got in the mail. Great. Came back dressed for the work out and the girl (same girl) took my free pass (post-card mailer). She noticed it was from the Fountain Valley gym (which I hadn't noticed). I told her this was closer to me and she said no problem, let's get you a pass. Then she just said, no, this is corporate, I'll have to charge you $10. REALLY? What gym doesn't allow a free trial? 24 fitness regularly gives out 3 DAYS FREE. Good job Crunch. I was 99% sure I was going to sign up — just wanted to check it out first. Oh, and you lost my wife as a client as well.
